The laboratory for high-voltage technology and EMC carries out measurements, calculations and simulations for equipment. This includes electrical diagnostics, determining the switching capacity of circuit breakers and measuring dielectric strength for various voltage forms.

In the Bachelor's degree course in Electrical Engineering, the practical courses in high-voltage technology and insulation coordination take place in the high-voltage laboratory.
