The DigiLab of the "Serious Games & Digital Knowledge" study program is available to all students of the Faculty of Design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. It is a creative space for digital work, prototyping, motion capturing, game studies, virtual reality, experiments, 3D rendering, AI and much more.

Service & Offer

Use of the DigiLab

A transponder for the locking system can be lent for access to the DigiLab. The use of some devices, such as VR headsets, neurointerfaces and motion capturing hardware, is only possible after additional consultation and instruction.
A transponder for access must be requested by e-mail. Liability for the room is assumed by the person who opens the room.
Various software is already installed on the PCs. It is generally possible to have new software installed on request.
An appointment for counseling or instruction can be arranged before use.

Lending

The loan and reservation of equipment and software can be requested by e-mail during the lecture and lecture-free periods. Only a confirmation by e-mail makes the booking valid. The maximum loan period is seven days. Longer periods are also possible by arrangement.
