Your Learning Agreement
- This module overview shows the full range of courses for international exchange students (bachelor’s level) offered at Fachhochschule Dortmund in English or in a bilingual English/German format for your learning agreement.
- Please note that this list is tentative and may be subject to change. Should this occur, we are happy to assist you in finding alternative solutions.
- Please note that the course load—and therefore the number of ECTS credits—for a module may vary depending on the requirements of your host university.
Selection of modules
- All exchange students will be enrolled in a single study program at Fachhochschule Dortmund that corresponds to the study program at their home university and the respective exchange agreement (i.e., “Computer Science”).
- Some modules can only be selected by exchange students from the specific study program in which they are enrolled (all modules in the list marked with a “lock” symbol).
- All modules listed under “open modules from other study programs” are available for selection by exchange students across all faculties.
- However, the majority of the modules (at least more than 50%) should be selected from the degree program in which you are enrolled.
- Our faculties—and thus the courses for the respective degree programs—are spread across three campus locations in Dortmund ( (Opens in a new tab) SON, EFS, MOP). If you wish to take courses at different campus locations, please be aware that travel time between campus locations is approximately 20–30 minutes.
Subject-related eligibility and other prerequisites
- For some modules, students must have certain subject-specific prerequisites. If you are interested in taking one of these modules, please contact the designated representative for your faculty.
- Some of the modules offered across faculties can only accept a limited number of students from other faculties. Therefore, in some cases, you may need to choose an alternative module.
