We support international prospective students and students who are completing a full degree program at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
This includes advising, admission and enrolment of prospective foreign students with a non-EU citizenship, social counseling including support in matters of immigration law and the implementation of integrative offers during studies. The International Office is also the point of contact for exchange students and DAAD scholarship holders. We provide information about possible scholarship programs and other services that are tailored to the needs of international students and are designed to make studying at Fachhochschule Dortmund easier.

We advise on individual organization and financing options for studying and internships abroad and on organizing stays abroad as part of international partnership and cooperation programs. Students receive financial support through the acquisition of DAAD funding (e.g. ERASMUS+) and the Fachhochschule Dortmund scholarship program.

Fachhochschule Dortmund is involved in a wide range of cooperation projects and programmes with university partners worldwide to further promote internationalization in studies and teaching. There are also numerous research projects at European level, which are supported by third-party funding from the European Union. In addition, there are further worldwide research collaborations at university and department level.
