Practical semester
- All study programs (except IB6) have a mandatory internship anchored in the curriculum
- Usually located in the 6th semester
- The internship can be replaced by a semester abroad
- The duration of the internship is usually 20 weeks (full-time)
- 750 working hours must be completed during the internship
- Working student contracts can be accepted

Summer semester: 01.10. to 15.12. of a year
Winter semester: 01.04. to 15.06. of a year

How do I find a work placement?
- Students must actively search themselves, ideally starting their search in the 3rd semester
- Unsolicited application
- Job exchange
- Approach/write to companies that were represented at the business event
- Showcase to the right of door EFS44_047
- ¼ Every year, send an e-mail to students with job offers
Requirements for a practical placement
- Business management focus
- No small businesses such as snack bars or kiosks
- They do not have to be large companies
- Legal form of the company is irrelevant
Practical report
- Submission 4 weeks (28 days) after the end of the internship as PDF
- Represents a scientific paper
- Follow the guidelines for writing an internship report
- Seek help if it does not work, e.g. writing center
- Have it proofread
