FH-Bahn runs right through Dortmund

What is 30 meters long, orange and runs right through Dortmund? The anniversary train of the Fachhochschule Dortmund. Since the beginning of the year, the FH has also been traveling on six axles.

The streetcar car with the memorable 50th anniversary logo runs on all eight light rail lines throughout the year and, as line 42, also stops regularly at the stop on the Sonnenstraße campus in the middle of Dortmund's Kreuzviertel district. From August onwards, information about Fachhochschule Dortmund's anniversary will also be displayed on the info screens at various light rail stations.

For all rail enthusiasts: The Fachhochschule Dortmund wagon bears the number 303 and is one of the so-called type B light rail vehicles. Although these wagons belong to the older generation of light rail vehicles, they are significantly younger than the Fachhochschule Dortmund. These wagons have been in use in Dortmund since the mid-1980s.
