The Faculty of Computer Science conducts research on numerous application-oriented issues. The high quality of this research is reflected in the growing amount of research funding from state, federal and EU programs, numerous scientific publications and the increase in successfully supervised doctorates. There is a particular focus on embedded systems, software and systems engineering, web engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Solutions are found, for example, for robotics, patient care, the digitalization of living and working environments, digital learning platforms and the efficient use of energy.
