Patents and property rights

Fachhochschule Dortmund supports its researchers in protecting and exploiting scientific findings and inventive achievements. It strives to achieve the greatest possible benefit for inventors and for the university when enforcing intellectual property rights.

The exploitation of the research results is carried out in cooperation with the patent exploitation agency PROvendis(Opens in a new tab)  of the NRW Hochschul_IP network. The activities are supported by the WIPANO funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi) and by the patent funding of the Ministry of Business Studies, Innovation and Digitalization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MWIDE)(Opens in a new tab) .
