The Dortmunder Bauforum is a series of events in which current topics from construction practice, construction research and current regulations are dealt with, presented and discussed in a practical manner. The focus is on practical building experience with the construction, execution and use of concrete structures. At the same time, the Dortmund Construction Forum is intended to promote the exchange of ideas between builders, engineering and architectural offices, experts, representatives of authorities, universities and system manufacturers.
The target groups of the Construction Forum are architects and engineers, structural engineers, consultants and experts, tendering and construction managers and specialists from architectural and engineering offices, building authorities and building authorities, property developers, construction companies and companies in the building materials and precast industry, project developers and operators, construction contractors and construction supervisors. The Dortmunder Bauforum is being held under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Rainer Hohmann, Faculty of Architecture at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
