Inga Soll and Heiko Sasse founded their architecture firm "I sollsasse architekten I" in Dortmund in 2014 after meeting during their studies. Initially, they both trained in the trades; she as a carpenter and he as a locksmith. After graduating, their paths initially diverged and both gained professional experience and further training in different ways. Their professional careers have consolidated the position of both of them.

A cautious approach
with the existing building stock,
development of clear typologies,
a certain naturalness
and corresponding continuity are our watchwords.
