Lisa Beißwanger is a junior professor of art studies and art history at the University of Koblenz. Her research areas include 20th and 21st century art and architecture, in particular discourses on the body, space and movement; museum and exhibition research; educational architecture and the history of art history. After studying art history at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, she worked for several years in the museum sector, including at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. After completing her doctorate at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen, she was a research assistant at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt and substitute professor of modern and contemporary art history at the Philipps University of Marburg. Her dissertation was published by Deutscher Kunstverlag under the title "Performance on Display - Zur Geschichte lebendiger Kunst im Museum". In her current research projects, she deals with system construction and system thinking in university buildings in the long 1970s as well as the interfaces between architecture and choreography.

The lectures take place in presence and start on Mondays at 18:00 in the faculty lecture hall. The lectures are open to the public and can be attended digitally via the QR code. Attendance in person is required for recognition of the module EV 3 /Office Perspective/.
