Licensed as an architect
Own office in Linz since 1971 (school construction, industrial construction, spatial planning, residential construction).
Study trips to housing projects in the 3rd world: 3 x Ivory Coast, 2 x Cameroon, Mali, 2 x Senegal, Borneo, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, 3 x Fujian/China, Apulia, 4 x Rajasthan/India.
1974
Realization of the research project "Les Palètuviers 1" (communicative living) Linz-Leonding, developed on his own initiative and at his own expense. To date, a total of 38 atriums have been realized in Austria and Germany.
Lectures and participation in exhibitions on Les Palètuviers in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. Various invitations from the Berlin Senate for residential construction, most recently for the expert opinion process for the "Gartenstadt am Falkenberg" Berlin (1700 residential units in continuation of Bruno Taut's Akazienhof 1910). The first inner-city Les Palétuviers project in Berlin Wedding could not be realized as social housing due to the economic consequences of the "Wende" (exploding land prices).
1996
the Offenau residential village was awarded the "KARL KÜBEL Foundation" prize of DM 100,000, which clearly recognized the social aspect of this housing concept.
Currently working on further Les Palètuviers projects, including the revitalization of historically valuable buildings. Currently further development of the residential model as implants for inner-city structures. In addition, planning and realization of workshops and residential homes for mentally and physically impaired people.
