What do chemistry and Lego have in common?
Professor Dr. Tamara Appel (Rector of Fachhochschule Dortmund), Sabine Hammer (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering)
Chemistry is like a giant Lego game with invisibly small building blocks. Chemists find out how best to put these bricks together to build new things - such as medicines, paints, plastics, perfume or even to make chocolate tastier.
So chemistry is everywhere and helps us understand how the world works and how to invent cool new things!
