How technology makes the invisible visible

Professor Dr. Ann-Kathrin Hömme I Faculty of Information Technology

Our bodies can do more than meets the eye.
When we stand, walk or jump, forces are at work that cannot be seen but can be measured using technology.

In this workshop, we use modern technology to make these invisible forces visible - for example, the pressure under the feet or changes in movement. What the body is actually doing all the time suddenly becomes visible on the screen.

We experience how research is carried out at a university and how technology helps us to better understand the human body.
