The Faculty of Architecture presents numerous student projects from the Building Materials Technology courses at this year's "Bau! Fair! NRW!" in the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund.
In the "MATERIAL WORLD+" project, unique material samples were created as a result of the Building Materials Technology 1 course. The task of the practical exercise accompanying the semester was to examine material both as a construction material and as a design material.
Numerous individual ornaments made of white exposed concrete can also be seen, which were created in the "LASER FORM CONCRETE" project from the Building Materials Technology 2 course. "The aim of the practical exercises was to raise awareness of concrete as a material, to acquire design and formwork construction skills and to implement them in the concrete laboratory," explains Daniel Horn, who led the exercise together with Paul-Andreas Maurer and Winfried Schmidt.
The exhibits can be seen in Hall 3 at Stand 3.E12.
