You do not have a formal university entrance qualification and are interested in studying?

Fachhochschule Dortmund offers applicants without a university entrance qualification with professional experience the opportunity to take part in the application process for a place on a degree course under certain conditions as so-called professionally qualified applicants.

Fachhochschule Dortmund has been an official partner of elite sport since 2006.

The prerequisite for special support as a top athlete is the nomination for the Olympic, perspective, supplementary, team sports or junior squad of the Olympic training center.

Our aim is to enable top student athletes to pursue an academic education and a top-class sporting career at the same time. Despite the high training effort and fixed competition dates, the sporting schedule should not clash with the university examination calendar.

Our support services include, for example

• Free use of the university's own sports facilities

• Preferential admission in the allocation of study places, in the first and higher semesters
