Organizational and perspective management
The department sees itself as a holistic service provider for all members of Fachhochschule Dortmund. The well-being of employees and students is just as important to the team from Organization and Perspective Management as ensuring that everyday university life runs smoothly and efficiently.
The areas of responsibility, offers and advisory services are diverse.
In organizational management:
- Organizational development
- Compliance management
- Development and implementation of measures in the area of sustainability (CSR) and social responsibility
- Internal service
- Implementation of the Online Access Act and the NRW E-Government Act
- Supporting the administrative management in organizational and administrative matters
- Central services: mailroom, print shop and transport service.

O-PEM as a pilot for a new management model
The Organizational and Perspective Management department is headed by a dual leadership team consisting of Jutta Groenhof and Corinna Meier. This makes O-PEM the first department at Fachhochschule Dortmund to launch the innovative management model.
The implementation of specialist and project teams is intended to reduce hierarchies and at the same time increase the decision-making powers of the subject experts. Given the ever-increasing diversity of topics in the department, the dual leadership model will significantly reduce the leadership gap in the specialist teams.
