Energy Manager on the CSR Office’s Transformation Team

On January 1, 2026, we were able to establish a project position for energy management. With Laszlo Küster, we now have an energy manager on the team and can leverage technical and organizational potential in addition to the successful joint cost-saving measures from the campaigns of recent years.

Welcome to the team!!!

The goal of energy management is to ensure that the Fachhochschule Dortmund’s energy supply is efficient, consistent, and sufficient. To implement these measures and measure their impact, an energy management system is being established and certified according to ISO 50001.

If you’re interested in energy and would like to help shape the university’s future energy supply, please feel free to contact us at csr-officefh-dortmunde

4th Conference on Social Responsibility: "Democracy Is Not a Given!" 9|10 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

How can democracy be strengthened in times of social polarization, growing pressure on civil society actors, and rapid technological developments? And what role do universities, academia, and NGOs play in this?

The 4th Conference on Social Responsibility, titled “Democracy Is Indispensable—Our Commitment Remains!”, will address these questions.

The conference is aimed at NGOs and the academic community. Students are more than welcome.

Exciting presentations and workshops on strengthening democracy and the use of AI in civil society engagement.
