Three students from the Faculty of Design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts have been awarded the Design and Gender Prize at the "Genderful Life" exhibition. The works of Elisabeth Kringe, Samaneh Khosravi and Miriam Wolter show strong people in difficult situations.

These are the award-winning works:

The three prizes are of equal value. Each winner received the unequal sign "≠" in concrete, 200 euros in prize money and a certificate.

This year's jury was made up of lecturers, employees and students from Fachhochschule Dortmund: Equal Opportunities Officer Sonja Hunscha, students Selina Bischoff and Lena Sievering and design professors Oliver Langbein and Nora Fuchs.

The criteria for the evaluation are the clarity of the gender-specific theme, the conceptual originality and the quality of the design. Works from the past twelve months were eligible.
