Following an IT outage on Wednesday afternoon (23.2.), our UAS website and some online services were temporarily unavailable. The university IT department was able to reactivate all systems the following day. This was due to a software issue; there was neither a cyber attack nor data loss.
In the course of the restart, there may have been short maintenance windows for individual IT services. We apologize that the network outage led to disruptions in operational processes, so that the university management also postponed examinations, for example.
We are still working on implementing measures, including the new IT strategy, to avoid such unexpected outages and make the entire IT infrastructure more robust.
