"fh-presse": Issue 1/2023 of the university newspaper

Published

Front page of the new issue

The current issue of the university newspaper "fh-presse" deals with the university's electricity requirements and how Fachhochschule Dortmund wants to save electricity. In addition, two start-ups are presented and exciting topics from teaching and research are highlighted.

Dear readers,

Allow us to be a little wistful this time. The "fh-presse" currently on display is the last of its kind. It will no longer appear in printed form.

For 43 years, it has reported on news (and sometimes curiosities) from teaching and research, on our activities with partner universities worldwide and with our partners in the region - in short, on Fachhochschule Dortmund in all its diversity. It has always had its finger on the pulse of the times.

As it is now. Reception behavior is changing, the world is becoming faster and more multimedia-based, technical devices are replacing printed paper - and last but not least, it is becoming increasingly important to think about communication and sustainability together. So now is the time. We say goodbye to the fh-presse and look forward to the digital news that will be presented to you and us on the website this year.

So please stay curious about everything that moves our UAS - browse again and then scroll soon.

Wilhelm Schwick, Rector

Jochen Drescher, Chancellor
