Digital workshops

Published

As part of the DAAD-funded project "Global Transformation and Social Work Practice" by Dorothée Boecker and Prof. Dr. Michael Boecker, our faculty will be offering digital workshops on various international topics over the next few years. We already kicked this off last year. The current workshop with two selection dates (on March 19, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. or on March 21, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.) will deal with the topic of "Social Action and Emancipatory Social Work Practice". The workshop is free of charge and will be held in English. Registration by e-mail is required: to jessietuj.acza or to jessyiafricacom Participation will be confirmed with a certificate. The workshop will be led by Dr. Yasmin Jessie Turton, Senior Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She is a social worker and has worked as an activist in Southern Africa for many years.
