The CSR-AG the HEP committee for sustainability at the UAS

The CSR-AG held its inaugural meeting in January 2025 and is the continuation of the Social Responsibility Focus Group from the previous HEP 2020 - 2025.

The CSR-AG is an open HEP committee for all HS members. The meeting is chaired by the Vice-Rector for Sustainability and Digitalization Prof. Dr. Franz Vogler. The CSR Office, headed by Sebastian Kreimer, is responsible for coordination.

The CSR working group has set itself the following tasks:

  • Accompanying the HRK pilot audit "Sustainability at universities" until September 2025
  • Developing the sustainability strategy in line with the HEP 2030, the research strategy currently in the development process, taking into account HSE plans and using the findings from the HRK pilot audit
  • All UAS members can continue to submit ideas to the CSR working group in the form of project outlines that promote the sustainable development of the UAS.
  • The CSR-AG makes recommendations to the Rectorate and the Senate on sustainability issues
  • The CSR-AG designs measures and projects.

The CSR-AG works according to the Whole Institution Approach(Opens in a new tab)  in six dimensions of the university:

  • Studies & Teaching
  • research
  • Sustainability transfer
  • Administration, infrastructure, operations
  • governance
  • Campus life

Contact persons and deputies were elected for these dimensions on 30.04.2025 for a period of one year.
