A place where university members feel comfortable, can develop and contribute in a variety of ways. A place that promotes cohesion, creativity and social commitment. Based on this understanding, many projects and measures have been developed and implemented at the university, both in the faculties and in university operations. The new "Mobility", "Energy" and "Social and Ecological Sustainability" working groups set up by the Corporate Social Responsibility Office (CSR Office) pool expert knowledge and commitment in order to introduce and implement further important structures and measures at the university. A process that aims to involve all members of the university in a bottom-up process and is generally participatory in nature.
Sustainability Week 2024
Together with TU Dortmund University, Studierendenwerk Dortmund, the FH Green Office and the ASten of Fachhochschule Dortmund and TU, we are organizing a Sustainability Week for the first time this year. With a varied program, we would like to invite you to discuss, shape and celebrate the topic of sustainability.
Working groups on sustainability
All members of the university, whether students or employees, are cordially invited to our regular working groups. There are currently three thematic working groups on mobility, energy and social and ecological sustainability. In these working groups, we try to develop new ideas in an exchange of ideas on how we can make Fachhochschule Dortmund even more sustainable. The working groups have been in existence since the beginning of 2022 and have already contributed to several projects.
Soffi - the mobile sustainability office
Soffi stands for Sustainability Office and is a mobile construction trailer with a multifunctional room. With the construction trailer, we would like to be available for exchange and design on the three campuses of Fachhochschule Dortmund. The trailer serves as an office for the CSR Office and the Green Office of Fachhochschule Dortmund.
