The goal of the safe cycling workshop is to learn about the applicable traffic laws and the rights of cyclists so that participants can feel safe on the road. Following the training, there will be an optional bike ride to Nordstadt to put what you’ve learned into practice right away. After the workshop, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the city on a short bike ride.
The course will be conducted in English, and participation is free of charge.
When: Thursday, October 22, 2026 (1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Where: Fredenbaum (at the ADFC traffic training ground), Münsterstr. 270 C, 44145 Dortmund
The ADFC will provide helmets and bicycles, but only in limited quantities—so be sure to register early or bring your own bicycle to the course.
Registration
The course is intended for international students at Fachhochschule Dortmund and Dortmund Technical University.
