The library offers training courses on various topics and for different target groups.
Offer for teachers: We are happy to provide training for your students as part of your courses. Please contact us with your individual wishes regarding the content of the training (specialist databases, special aspects of research, etc.).

Library tours
A library tour will give you an initial overview of the library's premises and services. We offer these informative tours at all three locations. They can also be held in English on request.
- Duration: approx. 15-20 minutes
- Group size: 5-30 people at the Emil-Figge-Str.44 location,
5-15 people at the Sonnenstraße and Max-Ophüls-Platz locations - Dates: by arrangement

Alternative to the guided tour: Video tour
In summer 2020, we filmed a video tour for each location. In it, a member of library staff gives a virtual tour of the premises and briefly introduces the most important services. This way, new students, new employees and anyone else interested can get a first impression of our three (very different) locations, depending on the time and place.
