The "Camtasia" software (manufacturer: TechSmith) is a well-established software solution for screen recording and video editing. With Camtasia, you can record all or part of the screen content (e.g., a software application or presentation slides); and these recordings can be edited directly within the program itself. Camtasia is therefore ideal for screencasts, tutorials, and presentations , but is also well-suited for general video editing.
