Laboratory for Software and Systems Engineering (dual)

Profile

The Software and Systems Engineering laboratory provides technical equipment for lecturers on the dual study program in Software and Systems Engineering.

The particular focus of the laboratory manager is to motivate and support prospective students and, of course, students in particular, to monitor IT landscapes.


The laboratory is a contact point for students of the Faculty of Computer Science. Special content relating to their studies, such as IHK material, is available for dual students.

Equipment

  • 10 laptop workstations for 10 - 20 people
  • 1 access point and printer with open interfaces for the integration of project-specific solutions
  • 1 virtualized IT landscape
  • 1 mobile rack
  • 1 Smart FlipChart
  • Various servers, firewalls and network components

Service & Offer

1. loan of laptops as part of teaching for a systems engineering module

Systems engineering students can borrow laptops for practical assignments.


2. loan of IHK learning material

Dual students can borrow learning material for the IHK intermediate or final examination.
