Training of students in the field of networks and operating systems. The following topics are covered as part of the practical courses/exercises that take place in the laboratory:

- Dealing with the Unix/Linux command line
- Developing scripts/acquiring programming skills
- Getting to know the tasks of an operating system
- Practical application of the Linux operating system
- Ethernet, network components: Hub, switch, router; virtual LANs (VLAN)
- IP protocols, addressing, routing
- Network address translation (NAT)
- Protocols of the transport layer
- IPv6, IPv4
