Research activities in the field of building physics focus on moisture protection in buildings. Using modern testing and measuring equipment, damage is analyzed and the performance of sealing systems and methods is tested in the moisture technology laboratory, in the component testing hall and on the open-air site. In addition to joint sealing systems for new buildings, systems that can be used to subsequently seal waterlogged buildings are also examined.
