Competition guidelines: Geierabend 2026
- The competition lasts until Thursday, January 29, 2026, 12:00 noon (CET).
- 2 x 2 tickets for the Geierabend on Thursday, 05.02.2026 will be raffled. The winners will be notified on 29.01.2026.
- Participation takes place by liking and commenting on the corresponding competition picture on the Fachhochschule Dortmund Instagram page(Opens in a new tab) . Multiple comments will be counted as a single entry. Participants must be following the Fachhochschule Dortmund's Instagram channel at the time of the prize draw.
- Comments that violate the Instagram guidelines, German law and/or copyright will be removed without notice. Participants are thus excluded from the prize.
- All natural persons are eligible to participate. Excluded from participation in the competition are the organizers of the campaign, namely employees of Department II (University Communication) of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and their relatives.
- The winners will be drawn at the end of the competition.
- The winners will be informed via an Instagram comment and contacted in a personal Instagram message. The winners must provide their email address. This will be sent to Geierabend Flattermann-Factory gUG exclusively for the purpose of sending the prize and will then be deleted by both Fachhochschule Dortmund and Geierabend Flattermann-Factory gUG.
- All Instagram names of the participants will be recorded and stored for the purpose of determining the prize. All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the competition. Participants are entitled to statutory rights to information, amendment and revocation.
- This competition is in no way connected to Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Instagram.
