The French architect and architecture publicist has lived in Stuttgart since 1986. For almost 40 years, she has been committed to promoting sustainable architecture and planning through lectures, exhibitions and 23 books, including in German Sustainability in Architecture and Urban Planning (2001), Ecological Architecture in Vorarlberg (2009), Clay Architecture Today (2017), Plant Fiber Architecture Today (2020) and in French and English TerraFibra Architectures (2022). Her new book Anna Heringer : Form follows love will be published by Birkhäuser in June 2024.

As Honorary Professor of the Unesco Chair "Earth Architectures, Building Cultures and Sustainable Development", Dominique Gauzin-Müller gives lectures all over the world: ETH Zurich, University of Liechtenstein, University of Stuttgart, University of Linz, architecture schools of Nancy, Strasbourg, Marrakech, etc.

She is a member of the Compagnie des négawatts and the Académie d'architecture. With her friends Alain Bornarel and Philippe Madec, she co-founded the movement for a happy and creative frugality in architecture and planning in January 2018.
