With visitors from 175 countries, Automechanika is the world's leading trade fair for equipment, parts, accessories, management & services in the automotive industry. Like no other trade fair, it represents the entire value chain of the automotive aftermarket. In this way, it acts as a platform for innovation and networking with global networks.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be presenting four sustainable projects to the international audience in Hall 5.0: Nuevo 35 , ReEcoMod(Opens in a new tab) , eTrail-Ing and Trisone(Opens in a new tab) . Under the name Trisone, students have created a special recumbent tricycle equipped with a solar panel and electric pedal assistance as part of their Bachelor's thesis.
Master's student Sascha-Dennis Witte will also give an overview of the innovative efforts made by Fachhochschule Dortmund to develop a low-emission vehicle with his presentation "Sustainable vehicle development: the road to the 'Nuevo 35'".
