The FHuture Skills Project—Skills in the Curriculum at Fachhochschule Dortmund
The FHuture Skills project aims to analyze the study programs at Fachhochschule Dortmund and thus highlight the competency-based focus of its teaching.
The Future Skills Framework was developed by the Stifterverband(Opens in a new tab) in collaboration with experts and identifies 30 future skills across five categories: foundational, transformative, community-oriented, digital, and technological future skills.

The FHuture Skills project is developing an AI-supported analysis tool to highlight future skills within the study programs.
The results of the analysis can be used in the three areas of influence
Accreditation of study programs
Continuing education for lecturers
Courses on teaching and methodology
to further develop the teaching of future-oriented competencies.
In addition, prospective students and current students can gain an overview of future-oriented skills.
Project start date: September 1, 2026 (expected to run through December 31, 2027)
