What is DART?
DART is short for Dortmund Applied Research and Transfer. The biannual symposium is organized by doctoral students, for doctoral students and other young researchers. The focus is on strengthening young scientists in applied research and on networking cooperative doctoral students at universities of applied sciences.
What is the conference language?
The conference will be held in English. Competition entries can be submitted in English and German but may need to be translated or subtitled for the exhibition.
How and where will the event take place?
The event will take place in person at DASA in Dortmund. There will also be a livestream. All you need is a functioning browser and a stable internet connection.
You can find the location of the event on the following page:
https://www.dasa-dortmund.de/
Are there any costs for participation?
The participation in the symposium is free of charge.
To ensure that this remains the case in future years, it is important that you cancel your participation in good time if you are unable to attend.
The submitted posters will be printed by Fachhochschule Dortmund.
Are travel expenses covered?
Unfortunately, we are not able to cover any travel expenses, even for doctoral students who give lectures or participate in the exhibition. However, we will gladly support you in finding suitable and reasonably priced accommodations. Please contact the Graduate Center (dartfh-dortmundde) if you need assistance.
