International Office

You are a non-European-citizen and you would like to study at the FH Dortmund?
Then the International Office is the point of contact for all your questions about your qualification, application, enrolment, studies, living in Dortmund as well as how to manage the daily life in a new environment, away from home.
We are taking care and give advice to future foreign students and we check your education certificates and advise you on the opportunity of studying at FH Dortmund.

  • We enrol you at FH Dortmund and offer advise for your apartment-hunting in this new and exciting surrounding.
  • We assist if you have questions about the formalities with the German authorities.
  • We try to make sure that your stay  in Dortmund will be perfectly organized, since we want you to feel comfortable in the city and want you to be successful with your studies.
Please note that most courses are taught in German. Please ensure a good preparation before your stay abroad and consider taking German classes at an institution in your home country, for example the Goethe-Institute.

There are master programmes completely taught in English at the faculty of Business: European Master in Project Management and at the faculty of information engineering: Embedded Systems for Mechatronics.
