The study programme Digital Technologies provides skills and knowledge in modern communication technologies, signal processing as well as in automation and control. Based on theoretical fundamentals, students work project and practice oriented right from the beginning: They use case studies – industrial systems, health/emergency/care systems, smart building applications etc. – and their visualization via services and apps. The combination of knowledge in sensor/actor physical processes, in signal analysis and transmission of data by using distributed autonomous systems, in big data applications and the internet of things is one central course content. Aspects like confidentiality, security, integrity, and authenticity of data are topics in the modules as well as system maintenance or error diagnostics. Graduates are qualified to work in the area of development, production, and service of complex, decentralized, cyber physical systems.

Biomedizintechnik is a new Study Programme .

There is a Master degree programme in Information and Electrical Engineering which is being offered at the Faculty of Information Engineering too.

If it is not clearly stated the language of instruction is German only!

Should you be interested in enrolling in a Study Programme with German as the language of instruction you will need to have proof of German proficiency on an B1 level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Please attach your Language Certificate to your application.
