Support and Social Advice for International Students at the International Office

International Office is here to support you with any arising questions concerning your studies and your life in Dortmund. We organise different informative and leisure time events, excursions, tutorials and conduct individual integration talks with international Bachelor students in their 2.-3. semester. Public Broadcasting License Fees (Rundfunkbeitrag)

The public broadcasting license fees from ARD, ZDF and Deutschlandradio is compulsory and need to be paid by everyone living in Germany.


Landlord Confirmation, Sublease Agreements

Since 1st November 2015 you need a written confirmation from a landlord or signed by an authorized person for your registration in the city.


Refund of the Semester Ticket Payment
