Financial Emergency Aids for International Students

It can happen that you suddenly get into financial difficulties during your studies - for example if you lose your job, get sick and cannot work that much or your relatives cannot support you financially etc. You should try to find a long-term solution for that issue as quick as possible and to take care of the new source of finance, as a proof of it is necessary for your residence permit. Scholarships or a part time job are a good solution as well however the authorities usually do not accept them as a sufficient proof of finance.

There are important contact points which may support international students in case of sudden financial difficulties if they do not see a direct way out. Please do not hesitate to contact these authorities early in advance, so that they can support you in time and help you to find further possible solutions.
