Register and join us!

AMICUS introduction days:
Wednesday, 18.09.2019 – Orientation Day
Thursday, 19.09.2019 – Intercultural Training

As part of the orientation days the International Office offers informative presentations for international freshmen including information about work, aliens law, accommodation, living in Dortmund and leisure time, services at the FH Dortmund and many more. It is a good opportunity to gain information about the institution and the most important contact persons for your studies at our university. Tutors will accompany you and give you hints and support for a successful study at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences.

Anyone who decides to study in Germany and thus spend a long time in a new country should also become familiar with cultural differences and ways of life. This makes living together much easier and helps in some situations not to prejudge.

For this reason, the International Office invites you to a one-day intercultural training session which will be on 19th of September 2019.

What are the differences between cultures? How can we communicate better  with each other and learn to avoid causing cultural offences? What do I bring from my own culture? Learn more about these topics during the Intercultural Training on September 28th. The International Office invites you to a one-day intercultural training with lots of fun!
