After an IT outage on Wednesday afternoon (23 Feb.), our website and some online services were temporarily unavailable. The University IT was able to reactivate all systems on the following day. The cause of the outage was a software problem; there was neither a cyberattack nor any data loss.
During the restart, there may have been short maintenance windows for individual IT services. We apologize that the network outage has led to disruptions in university operations, and that the University Management also had to postpone exams, for example.
We continue to work on implementing measures as part of the new IT strategy, to avoid such unexpected outages and stabilize the entire IT infrastructure.
