Dortmund International Spring School 2022
Over the course of 5 days, around 100 participants from Fachhochschule Dortmund and partner universities addressed the topics of Signals & Systems for Automated Driving, Usability Engineering, Multi-Project Management and Organization, and Smart Home & Smart Building & Smart Cities.
We talked to some of the students and here is what they told us.
Mahadi Hasan, Usability Engineering Stream participant:
"We explored the campus from the outside and inside to find out how accessible it is for people with disabilities. Our task was to identify potential problems and suggest improvements. Then we did that in the Dortmund U Tower, but in a slightly different way. There we examined the floors, noted as visitors what we felt there, and collected data for improvements in terms of design."
Aleksandra Galiakhmetova, multi-project management and organization:
"During the stream, we learned about the theory of multi-project management and then did case studies to see how it can be implemented in practice. We also had a company visit to see how successful companies manage their projects. On one day we had a guest lecturer from Kaunas who shared his experiences with us. The stream was very well organized and gave us many useful insights."
We hope that those of you who attended the Dortmund International Spring School 2022 enjoyed it as well, and if not, we look forward to seeing you at our next summer school in 2022!
