Counseling for international students
The counseling team of the International Office is your central contact partner and offers you counseling and support service. We are responsible for the information, social counseling and guidance of international students. We are happy to support you with any questions and concerns you may have about living and studying in Dortmund. Our counseling is based on your study-live-cycle. We support you from the beginning of your studies, during your course of studies until the successful completion of your studies with the integration into the working world. Our aim is your academic success at Fachhochschule Dortmund – University of Applied Sciences and Arts. We look forward to meeting you!

- Support with problems during your studies or in your everyday life
- Information on aspects of residence law and questions regarding work permits
- Help with questions about financing your studies
- Support in difficult personal or study-related matters
- Information on the structure of studies, study organization, graduation
