Would you like to get in touch with German families, outside of the daily campus environment? If the answer is yes, you should definitely check out our senior mentoring program!
The mentoring program gives you the opportunity to learn more about German culture. You have the chance to get to know Dortmund and its region and to improve your German language skills - all in one. By joining group activities, excursions to different cities/museums or going on a hiking trip, you will easily expand your social network and find new friends. Additionally, you can deepen your knowledge of German language during the regular meetings with native speakers. Some of the senior mentors even provide assistance with written assignments in German (grammar, etc.)!
This unique program is a cooperation of the International Office of FH Dortmund, the International Office of TU Dortmund and Faculty 12, Advanced Studies for Senior Citizens of TU Dortmund. A link to further information from TU Dortmund can be found below.
