08. - 28. MAI 2018

The summer school at Universidad de Navarra lasted 8 days. During that time, the group worked around the topic: how urban planners, politicians and economists have managed the public and private urban space during the financial crisis in 2008/9. The group attended theoretical sessions with Spanish urban experts, analysed two different new neighbourhoods on the outskirts of Pamplona and developed a small project addressing the spatial deficits. Before and during the workshop we visited interesting urban spaces and outstanding pieces of architecture in North Spain, among them the Guggenheim in Bilbao and the Palacio del Constable in Pamplona.
