The program of study was developed by representatives from a number of European colleges and will be administered in parallel by these institutions, which facilitates the exchange of students and teachers. It culminates in a Master's thesis and a colloquium (30 ECTS-points) and leads to the granting of a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree.

Tuition costs amount to € 500,--/Sem. In addition, there is a social security contribution for student work in the current range of € 222.56 (status: 2011), which besides social security and reduced-price Mensa-meals also includes the NRW-Ticket (free travel on public commuter rail transport throughout NRW).
