With about 40 full-time faculty and depending upon course offerings an additional 30 lecturers who come from numerous business sectors, along with 1500 students (including collaborative students, 1900), the Faculty of Business Studies is the largest of all the seven departments in the Fachhochschule Dortmund. After the eight diploma programs are phased out, the Faculty of Business Studies will offer bachelors degrees in Business Administration (BA), International Business (BA) und Business Information Technology (BSc; in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science) as well as masters degrees — European Master in Project Management (MA) and Risk & Finance (MSc) and also a distance learning with resident periods joint study program in Business Administration for New Public Management (MBA).
