The Masters programme "Adolescence in the theory and practice of social work" will run for six semesters of part-time study at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences. Allocation of the 25 study places is via the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Dortmund. Online application is possible between 1 June and 15 July each year. Late applications will be considered but will depend on availability during the relevant semester. Tuition for the current year started in the winter semester 2010/11.

Eligibility requirements:

Evidence of completion of one of the following, with an overall grade comparable to the German mark of 2,5 (§ 33 MPO):

(i) a Bachelors degree in social work

(ii) a professionally-oriented degree programme from a college or university

(iii) an accredited undergraduate programme at a vocational academy (e.g. GSCC approved in the UK)

Attendance:

Tuition is scheduled at the following times throughout the course

Monday to Thursday from 15h50, Friday from 14h15, Saturday and Sunday all day. The language of teaching is German.
