Internship
The practical training consists of an at least 12 week long internship in the construction field in accordance with the German construction contract procedures (VOB). The proof of the internship must be submitted no later than the beginning of the third semester. It is recommended to serve most of the internship before the beginning of the studies. At the time of the registration, proof of at least 4 weeks of practical training must be submitted.
Applicants with the advanced technical certificate, specialization construction engineering do not need to fulfill an internship.
The president of the examination board or the president of the examination board of the architecture faculty is responsible for the approval of internships. He or she is also responsible for the approval of relevant apprenticeships or occupations as practical training.
