At Fachhochschule Dortmund - University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, we vehemently reject violence in any form. Violence does not lead to peace; it only triggers new escalations. Instead, we stand for an open-minded society, for a peaceful and respectful coexistence among people of different backgrounds, religions, worldviews and sexual orientations, as well as different genders, ages, and educational backgrounds.
We see ourselves as a window from Dortmund to the world and as a space where internationality is experienced and lived in Dortmund. Our university promotes the exchange of students, teachers and staff with our international partners – with over 140 partner universities from around 50 countries worldwide.
We actively advocate for an academic exchange that transcends borders and differences. Sciences require peaceful and free exchange, and we need the peaceful and free coexistence of people everywhere in the world.
